...hike on income over 250k? Wouldn't redistribution of wealth mean the government goes in and takes all the wealthy's assets and splits them up among the poor? That seems like a far cry from a 3% extra tax increase on income earned over 250k.
People mispeak. Yes Obama doesn't have problem offloading more of the tax burden on the wealthy. But that doesn't mean he want too steal the assets of the wealthy and split them up amoung the poor.
