Do university in America?

I'm interested in doing university in America or Canada. I hope to do journalism or specifically photo journalism. I'm currently in yr 11 and am an OP student. What requirements would I need to fulfill and how exactly could I get into an American/Canadian university? Thanks.
 
You need to meet their entrance requirements: academic requirements, language requirements and then see the good ole immigrantion, or as it it called the Homeland Security Department for a student visa. Check the internet for the university of your choice to see what their requirement are for a foreign student. It is expensive in the USA. But welcome, we have the best universities in the world!
