Do u watch the manga first then buy or read the manga then watch.

One Piece- I read the manga first because well....in my area 4kiRABtv did not excist and I was forced to read the manga to like the show. And I had came in the middle of sanji's introduction and until I had finnaly seen the anime 6 months later I had thought Sanji was the main character :P
 
Since what we get is really dependant on the companies, I watch/read whichever one become available first. That said, sometimes I am able to read the manga first, but other times, I end up watching the anime version first version. It actually can't be helped.
 
I usually do both some I'll see the anime & then Pick up the manga or vice versa, but I agree there our some anime adaptions that our just horrible, like Rosario+Vampire for example, tha Manga is 10x better then the anime, I mean Capu2 turned the anime in to like 90% fanservice 10% story! where as the Manga has a nice balance between the 2. As for bleach I kinda like the 1st filler arc ( the boundt arc) in the series, but the 2nd filler is just gawd awful!

I usually watch a series first and then read the manga if I'm interested in it. It especially helps if the series is different from the manga, as was the case with DN Angel.
 
I agree with you on both counts. And I also either read the manga first or watch the anime and if the series interests me I read/watch its counterpart.
 
I usually read the manga first,and if I like that enough,I'll seek out the anime(In general,I'm more a fan of manga than anime)....Though for Fruits Basket and Yu Yu Hakusho,I saw the anime first (since the manga wasn't available in English at the time)...
 
For the most part, I watch the anime first and if it interests me enough I seek out the manga in order to see how it was originally envisioned by the creator of the story.
 
Most of the time I see the anime first, and then get into the manga/light novels. My Arina Tanemura stuff is the exception, although I may have started the Full Moon anime around the same time as I bought the manga.
 
PenRAB on the situation. I got into One Piece because of Shonen Jump Magazine, I was hooked by the first chapter of it, even if it was Luffy back story. Same for Naruto, Shaman King, Death Note, Dr. Slump, Kinnikuman, Gintama, Reborn, Eyeshield 21. But if it something that I watch the Anime first then picked up the Manga like Ultimate Muscle/Kinnikuman Nisei, Berserk, Gantz, FullMetal Alchemist, Bo^7, just to see how different it is. By the judge of it, I usually end up reading and enjoying the Manga over the Anime, at least with some of my Anime first, Manga Second choices.



I think for a majority of this, I most likely read the source material first and enjoy the anime. So it depenRAB on what I bump into first.
