Do u think that most people just go into the nursing field more for the money?

I do. Most people could care less about helping others. All they want is the money. I feel that if you are going to go into this field, you should do it because your heart is into and because you will want to help others and make a difference in their lives.

Alot of people have tried to get me to go into nursing because they say it is such a well paying field. I don't want to go into nursing because i don't feel that it is for me and i don't want to do something for money.
 
Not only is it good money but its got job security, you can go any where and find a job in nursing
 
You have the right to refuse when they urge you to take up nursing. Sadly, most people think of the pay but lack the dedication the work entails. It seems all that matters is the pay and nothing more.
Makes me wonder why some nurses are so grouchy in handling patients. They never really care about them.
