with the current tentions brewing between the US and North korea do u think a nuclear war will happen between the us and the north?

i think the north would fire a nuke at the US
 
I do not think a nuclear war will break out between the US and North Korea. North Korea is nothing but merely an actor on the stage If you look forward for a long term, the Kim Dynasty will change or collapse in due time. The Korean people want food, peace and live on their own will.
 
Japan is more likely to go to war with North Korea. Missles are being tested over Japan by North Korea, has nothing to do with the US.
 
If they did.Matbe it would hit San Franscico and then we would not have to retaliate since San Fransco doesn't want the military involvement anyway.If they fired any where else we should make pyongyang glow in the dark for a thousand years.
 
No, that won't happen.

Even if NK would be so stupid as to detonate a nuclear bomb (no one says they have a way of delivering it to another location - i.e. they don't have the technology to put it on a missile) the US would not retaliate with nuclear means.

In the event NK started hostilities, the conventional response by other nations (hopefully including China) would be sufficient to stop them.

I highly doubt it. Although they have nukes, they don't have ones big enough/enough in quantity to wipe out our whole country. If they were to attack us, we would have more than enough firepower/time to retaliate from surviving parts of the country and decimate them. Such a small country provoking a much larger one with more firepower is a suicide wish. Not saying it's impossible but it's highly unlikely. Don't forget that US has intelligence agents over there too.

If the US is going to be engaged in a nuclear war, it will most likely not be with North Korea. Iran and China are more likely candidates.
