Do u hate it when couples do choreographed dances at their wedding ?

i hate this doing a choreopgraphed dances of weeding couples - its there day otheres should be doing the dances for them what u think ?
 
I like seeing couples do a choreographed dance. Its individual and shows the couple have gone to a real effort. Why not have fun with it??

Although seeing the couple sway together and whisper talk into each others ears is endearing too.
 
I've never seen them in person thank goodness but I have seen plenty on Youtube and I don't get the appeal at all.
 
I think it is annoying. I didn't go to a wedding to watch people who think they can dance. They say that they do it for the entertainment of their guests but in reality they are doing it to be attention whores.
 
I think it's cute, it shows that they can work together and that they want to have a great time on THEIR day.
 
No. We did a tango. It was awesome.

Edit: We did it because it was our wedding. My husband used to do ballroom dancing in college and it was important to him. Our guests would have expected nothing less.
 
I like it when a couple does a choreographed dance. Once you've been to enough weddings, it is boring watching the first dance if they just hold each other & do the "high school sway" I don't expect the dance to be perfect ~ and it's nice to see the new couple having fun together.

You think others should do the dance for them? I was happy that my guests gave up their afternoon & evening to attend my wedding & reception, that they patiently waited while we took wedding photos, and of course happy that they got dressed up for us & bought us wedding gifts. I'm certainly not going to make them jump through any more hoops for us.
 
I think if its a serious/semi tacky dance ..yeah it is a bit silly lol

But I saw a really hilarious clip on youtube of a couple starting off with a slow dance, and then the song stops..and Baby Got Back starts playing. Their dance was HILARIOUS, i loved it lol

So it really depends on how the dance turns out I suppose :)
