I'm only asking this because I prefer the look of older Ford Escapes, but I've heard the new 2.5l 4-bangers get better mileage than the older 2.3l engines. Is this true? If so, what are we talking about here? 3 or 4 more miles per gallon? If anyone here owns a 2008 or older 4 cylinder Escape, would you mind posting your highway mileage?
Do the new 4 cylinder 2009 Ford Escapes really get better mileage than older models?
