Do the gearboxes of Suzuki motor boat engines give problems?

If you are talking about the lower unit the answer is heck no.
You can tell this because there are very few rebuilt units available on the open market.
There has to be bad units so they can be rebuilt and offered on the open market.
If you are talking about the shift control box again I haven't heard of any problems for the newer ones.
