do the american people support the public option in the health care debate?

everyone that opposes it says they (the american people)dont, but everyone that supports it says they (the american people) do. i have a feeling there is a whole bunch of 'dont know what theyre talking about' going on.

I don't support it. My state already has a public option any other state can do it too, it shouldn't be a federal issue.
