Do stretching exercises help you grow taller?

I'm only 5"6, I'm a guy, and I wanna grow taller.lol do stretching exercises could help me grow taller? My parents are about the same height as me and I'm already 18. Could it be genetic? or am I just short because I used to workout everyday when I was 14....I heard we're not supposed to work out till 18...?
