do steroid inhalers cause aggression in children?

I have read posts that indicate it might be possible but am not aware of any research that substantiates that. What does your doctor say?
 
I don't know about scientific research, but I can tell you from a mom's point of view that albuterol has definitely caused aggression in my child. It usually goes away after a few days, but I always warn her teachers because the first couple days she hits and bites a lot if not watched carefully (she is a toddler).
 
Albuterol is not a steroid and is a very short-acting medication. The effects of albuterol wear off after 4-6 hours so it is very unlikely that it has any effect that lasts "a few" days.
 
This is when she has a flare and is on albuterol every 4 hours for days. I know that albuterol only works for 4-6 hours, but when she has a flare she gets it every four hours around the clock for at least a week. This is when I notice the aggression not for the occasional albuterol treatment.
