A month ago during a Red Wings postseason game, a Red Wing player scored a goal where the puck deflected off another person's skate. The other person had no idea that the puck was coming his way, but the top official decided not to count the goal. For any other team, it would have counted. Now just the other day, Armando Galarraga pitched a perfect game against the Cleveland Indians, but the first-base umpire called the batter safe when he was clearly out. They still decided not to give him the perfect game.
