I currently have hybid, part-knobby all terrain tires on my bike, and was wondering if going to the thinner street "slicks" makes it easier to bike up hills?

I am considering having two sets of tires, street tires for commuting (which I mostly do), and the all-terrains I currently have for off-roading.
