Do romantic books ever make you sad?

They make me sad sometimes and not because theres a sad part in it or a sad ending. But i guess i get kinda sad and a bit depressed when reading a romantic book bcuz it makes you want the same thing as the character in the book. Im reading The Time Travelers Wife at the moment and if you guys have read it, you might know what im talking about (how sweet Henry is to Clare as shes growing up and stuff). do any of you guys feel this way? im not saying that i fall in love with fictional characters, no. i may have a favorite in a story but never actually fall for them like that. im just saying that do you guys ever become sad or a bit depressed by the way some treats someone else in a romantic book? like, dont you ever wish someone loved you like that and treated you the same way? this is just by opinion and no rude comments plz =)
