Do race bikes have clutches?

Do racing bikes have clutches? is that one of the reasons they have electronic launch control - to help them accelerate effectively at the start of a race without a clutch?

i heard that with some production bikes you can change gears without clutching even though its not good for the gearbox? is this also applicable to racebike gearboxes?

any other information you have on race bike gearboxes compared to production bike gear boxes would be nice too. just curious as all. thanks.
