Do people who predict martial law, one-world government, or race wars ever notice...

...when time proves them wrong? I remember when Bill Clinton was first elected, I heard lots of extreme right-wingers predicting that Clinton was going to declare martial law "any day now." They told people to stock up on guns and ammo.

The people predicting imminent "one-world government," in total disregard of the fact that many of the world's people's don't get along at all, have been saying it was imminent for at least 50 years.

People said Bush was going to declare martial law, too.

So do the people who think these disasters are just around the corner ever stop and think about the fact that so many of their preditions turned out wrong in the past that they're current predictions are probably not very reliable? Or do they just go on predicting, always believing in imminent disaster?
