Do people on the Right feel better when they whine incessantly about Obama?

So many of the complaints are mindless or nonsense talking points that it just comes across as whining rather than legitimate concerns. Case in point, the ridiculous calls to see Obama's birth certificate.

Do people really think Obama got a passport, sat in the senate and ran for the presidency without a birth certificate? Does anyone believe neither McCain nor Clinton would have raised this issue?
 
As a voter I have the right to complain. I will continue to complain for the next 4 LONG years.

Are you saying that if McCain won you wouldn't be complaining about him? Right! We had incessant whining about Bush, even when he didn't deserve it.
 
Actually you can run for the senate without being born in this country, and you can also get a passport without being born in this country.
Now with that said. I dont give a crap about the Obama presidency. In fact, Im looking forward to it. Sometimes the country needs to hit bottom before it gets better, and I feel Obama is just the right person to take us to the bottom. This country needed Carter to move us way to the right with Reagan. Im looking foward to the Obama failure.

I know it makes me feel better. I also enjoy criticizing every little move he makes, and I will be pointing out every mistake he makes for the next four years.

Your assertion that McCain or Clinton would have raised an issue is naive.
McCain was only there to provide a loser, and Clinton would use it against him....she's now Secratary of State.....hmmmmm.

One other thing. If we were talking about a Repubs birth certificate here, you Obamabots would be losing your minds over it.

No, he's never proved he was born here. How he got through it is beyond me but it doesn't matter and why does it matter to you so much, he won so what do you have left to complain about?
If Obama lost you'd still be whining but it would be about racism ect. ect.

Obama was born in Kenya, never seen an American passport, but he did have one from Indonesia. It's amazing how gullible ppl are.

Case in point, CBS running a story just before the 2004 election using forged documents to try to influence the outcome of the election (Remember Dan Rather).
Or the ridiculous referals tha Bush would institute Marshal Law to retain the presidency.
 
McCain had his own issues, was sued on them, and resolved them in court, showing his papers.

I think that if Hawaii is the only state that issues 'certifications of live birth' to people born in other countries, various people including in the passport department might think that document was conclusive proof of birth here, or might not have checked his mom's age and residency to see if she could have passed citizenship, etc.

I think it is very unlikely he got this far without having been born here, however, the thing to do is do what McCain did, and what Goldwater and George Romney had to do before that, and get the court to review the original documents to shut everyone up.
