...or its graduates?
I went to a very competitive high school and made it into the top ten percent at the last possible chance (5th six weeks of my senior year/ well past most college deadlines).
I wanted to go to Texas A&M University, but I got put on a wait list. (I did not get a rejection letter). I got a 28 composite on the ACT and TAMU reported range is 23-29. Honestly, I am very bitter about not being able to get into TAMU.
I am now going to TTU, but I am going to reapply for transfer to TAMU for the Fall of 2010 whenever I can. I know transfer admissions are even harder for TAMU, but whether or not I actually decide to physically go I need to knwo that I can get in.
I received a letter that offered me partial admission. Its not rejection, they basically told me they ran out of room since they guarantee housing to the top ten percent people.
please answer the actual question; I'm just ranting and explaining the "why" below.
Ironically, the guy who's spot in the top ten percent I took got into UT Austin.
Just to reiterate, I'm not stupid. If I had gone to any other high school in my district I probably would have been in the top 15 people.
