Do people discuss philosophy at the bar?

I came across this book that said that people who go to bars often discuss philosophical questions while drinking together. Is this true? I've never stepped into a bar before (pretty young), so is this really a common sight there? I know that you can discuss philosophy anywhere but I didn't know it was a more common occurrence at the bar.

Someone help? And perhaps share a similar experience?
 
Haha. Pretty right. Drank people are becoming smart all of the sudden. They discuss a lot of things, create a heated debate and tries to outdo each other. If you come to hear them, you'll be amazed where on earth did they had this information. :hammer punch:But overall, it's not just philosophical matter. It's mostly anything that would catch their interest. In one of our drinking session, we had discussed about the "who comes first; chicken or egg" issue.
