So I have an unusual name - in that my parents weren't native English speakers, and I am about to write a book. Now my name isn't hard to pronounce, in fact its very easy pronounce: my name is Shaleena Nalawo. Suppose you liked the back blurb of the book; now would you buy a book if you saw an author with that name? I mean, I know someone whose real name is Nantyffyllon Llandudno and he told me he had to change his name because he was told it was too difficult to pronounce. So I need to know now if people are inclined to buy books written by author with unusual names even though they initially liked the back blurb of the book. Thank you.
