Do Nothing does not stick?

6 Weeks Left!

Long story short, somewhile back I had upgraded the Palm s/w for my TX to v6, but decided to kill it when I found out it gave me nothing of value, and downgraded to version 4 with Outlook conduits. Had to also install the Outlook 2007 conduits as well, as I now have that version on this machine (XP Pro SP3). Before installing v4, I did a "search and burn" run thru the registry and the system looking for any and all references to the older version, so there was nothing left out there, at least as I could find.

So after installing v4, I set up the options in the Hot Sync custom dialog to sync ONLY Calendar/Outlook 2007, NOT any of the others. I have Tasks, Memos, Contacts, etc, all checked as Do Nothing, and ALL of them are Set as Default. However, as a test, I added an item to my TX's Tasks (for example), and after syncing, it appears in Outlook's Tasks incorrectly, and vice versa on a second test, even tho it still shows as Do Nothing in the Hot Sync dialog. It's ignoring the Do Nothing setting, even tho it shows as Do Nothing in the dialog, and was set as default. This appears to be consistent, holding thru several syncs.

What gives? Anyone have any ideas why it's ignoring the Do Nothing directive? Better, how can I fix it!

TIA
