This again......
before buying on eBay,
/search. Lots about him on this board, his other names, and how hard it was to get him to do a return. Next we will discuss backrestcruzer guy. This guy is ordering stuff from china and reselling it. If you want stuff from china order it yourself off eBay and save the mark up. He will work with you however.
I bought a cheap nose fairing from china with the full intention of repainting it. I just considered it a less expensive replacement part, think of it a light fiberglass. Shift teck and the Germans are quality but not cheap. remember "CHEAP" does not just reflect the price.
 
Look I know I sound HARSH, but you should see the parts he sent me. Ill post pics as soon as I get back. Im stuck in Canada for the next little while. Plus what he did to my friend is absolutely ignorant. The LCD monitor he sold him is completely useless, and he refused to help in anyway. He advertised it as "a plug and play, ready to use just plug it in". I know he should have checked with his dealer first but the dealer said even if he had the ecu, the cpu, and everything else to make it work the thing is to busted up to be of any use. If you had a good experience with this guy thats great, but if you get crap, you've been warned.
 
No no if you’re talking to me, I agree. Last guy said he took one look at his product and tossed them in the trash. My point was that if you had read that tread you would not have had the same experience. And you may have read it and other experience if you had used the search option. May be wrong maybe this wasn’t him. think he changes his name every month or so

I sent him a few ebay emails about this Termi Exhaust and he responded with in minutes, literally. The last email I sent him did go unanswered for 4 days but he did finally respond and apologized for being out of town. By then, the auction had already expired so i never bid on it. From the pictures on ebay, the exhaust he custom coated definetely looks pretty insane. He told me someone from SoCal bought it and drove to his shop to pick it up. He also offered to me that if I won the auction, I could come to his shop in Orange County and pick it up in person. He cant be that bad if he lets poeple come to his shop... but who knows.

I would however, absoutley think twice about dealing with him now.
 
Hmmm, under that auction name , he's got 8 feedbacks and all are positive....aren't you guys writing your negative feedbacks on Ebay? Or does he change his name that fast? The one above is for "motomaan".....

You know now that I think of it, the guy I remember was selling nothing but carbon. And was just misrepresenting it as high quality. I do believe I may have shot my mouth off to fast about the specifics.

However I still think it would not hurt to do a search on your favorite board(s) to see if a seller has a good reputation or not.
 
I almost bought from this guy he had a full system that was ceramic coated. But some parts were missing. He said that the exhaust was just ceramic coated. I then asked him if you just had it coated why are you selling it? He reply that some guy traded a bunch of parts to him. Then that same guy bought a new exhaust. It just didn't make any sense,why would you pay to have it coated then get rid of the system. Why not just get rid of it and save on ceramic cost?? I wonder if pipes had scratches from a fall and he ceramic coated to cover it up?? And oh yeah he wouldn't accept Paypal. I guess I'm lucky I never bought them and went with a new system.
 
I very vaguely remember someone that went by the name Motoman having a bad reputation with some Ducati friends of mine in San Diego. The guy dealt in stolen parts, which is the kiss of death in my book. He had a shop in OC and I belive he was Asian.

By no means am I calling the ebay dude a thief, never dealt with the guy personally. Hell, I don't even know why I'm posting this.
 
my friend and I both filed complaints about him to Ebay. We were both hoping to end this on friendly terms, we filed pretty much at the same time. If Ebay doesnt shut him down we ll leave bad feedback. Really all I want is my money back. and for my friend to get his money back and no one else to get burned by this prick. If you think 8 good feedbacks are worth the risk by all means its your money. My friend got screwed the worst from this guy. He bought a busted up LCD monitor from this guy. He emailed him asked if the dat card and or the ecu would be given to him if he bought the monitor, Motomaan responded by saying everything needed to make it work would be sent to him. All he got was a busted up lcd monitor. nothing else. He has since offered to buy the dat card, the ecu the cpu, the ignition from him, no response, thats when he complained to Ebay. I suspect he never had the key the dat card etc....
 
Good luck but in my experience ebay isn't going to do sh1t. As I say in my ebay auctions "ebay has become a scam pit for the uncrupulous..."
