drudgereport.com ? I mean, sure if they click on the headline link posted by Matt Drudge then it sends them to the actual news story and its advertisements so the news sites get some $.
But wouldn't they rather the reader just go to their website in the first place to get the news first without having their news channelled by the Drudge Report?
I mean, sometimes people who visit drudgereport.com don't even click on the links and Matt drudge still makes money off the adds surrounding 'his' headline links to the other newspapers that wouldn't get anything out of such a scenario.
What do you think?
