MYSQL, AJAX, JAVASCRIPT).? I'm looking for an easily portable laptop or netbook to use for website development. How well do they work for this purpose? Should I just get a laptop instead of a netbook?
 
Yes, of course they do. I have an Asus EEE and I've used it with Rational Software Architect, a piece of dev software that's waaaaaaaaay heavier on the CPU that what you want to do.

The screen is small, but it's ideal for a lightweight, cheap solution for dev work. You can install the LAMP/xampp stack and do your dev work using the editor of your choice.
