to stay on their health insurance? I am 23 years old and am currently still on my parents health insurance plan. I am no longer a student and I work full time. My parents have always claimed me as a dependent. Now that I am no longer in school and working I would like to claim myself. Do my parents need to claim me in order for me to continue to receive their health insurance?
Thank you for your responses so far. It never occured to me that my parents probably arent allowed to claim me anymore. I live in California and they live in Virginia and I support myself 100 percent (minus the fact that i am still a depedent on their health insurance)
