Even if the US government stopped spending so much tax payers money on the military and they instead built schools, filled them with highly trained teachers and offered free education, would most US citizens still ignore education and idolize actors, athletes, TV preachers and other non-intellectuals?
Do most US Christians just have no desire to be educated?
