Do miles increase when I tow a car?

I'm buying a Jeep and the dealer said the Jeep was towed a lot so that's why it has a LOT of miles. He said this is good for me since the car is cheap because of the miles but the motor is in great shape since it didn't work to put those miles on. Is this true?

lol idk if this is true or not but it sounds like some bs , but i dont mind hard miles on a vehicle since i only run antiques

I guess its true but really, today car engines don't wear out under miles as they used to. Its everything around the engine that wears out, suspension, transmission, etc.

Haha,im only 14 and know a car only uses miles if its on and driving not being towed
