I love welding and just enlisted as a metal worker in the army. my ship date to bct at Fort Knox is April 06 2010. I hear metal workers rarely do their job in a garrison environment. I want to know do army metal workers do a decent amount of welding at their duty stations? Does it depends on which Brigade or Unit their in? Any answers will be appreciated.
