Do men discuss women as much as women discuss men?

I'm a woman, in my mid - 20s. and I HATE talking about guys constantly. with most of the women I know it's all they talk about, whenever I sit down to watch Loose Women, it's the main topic of discussion, you watch The Hills and it seems to be what the show revolves around.
I mean, why are relationships and men the main thing women talk about. Is there nothing more to us? Are we THAT boring? Do lesbians discuss women that much? And why do guys think of all of this?
 
From what I have gathered from different conversations with some female friends they do talk about guys a lot of the time but they also talk about other girly stuff like clothes and parties and whatever else they haven't told me about.
It's not that boring but you have made me realise that yeah most shows focus on us men, I feel offended how can women treat us like objects, we do have feelings.
I really don't mind if my friends talk about me, word of mouth tends to be good news for me. lol
