Do medicine have same effect if it was injected?

so we have an investigatory project. It is about the effect of Okra on the blood sugar levels of rats. I have just thought that what should we do if the rat don't eat the okra?

my friend told me to inject it.

Will that have same results if it was eaten by the rat?
