basic training and boot camp?
All right...let me specify: if you already ARE an MD, do you go through the training?

I'm not sure, but I think so. Basically because you don't have your MD degree yet. Used to be that if you HAVE your degree already and you sign up (as an officer), you could go in two or three ranks up, like O-3. But that was a long time ago and maybe they changed that.

Basic training and boot camp are the same thing.

And yes, anybody joining the Military goes through them. DUH.

You'll go through an officer indoc course. It's nothing major, just enough to get you familiar with your new life.

absolutely. to enlist in any branch the first step is bmt(basic training)

btw, basic training IS boot camp.
