I mean are there many people who take the bible literally still? believing that we came from adam and eve and that the earth is 5000 years old (or whatever)..? and that a man named noah who was hundreds of years old saved all the animals on a boat from a flood? most christians take these as stories with a meaning behind them, or like metaphorical or allegory right? how many people these days take these stories literally and believe them to be actual history??
