Do male cats wander further away from home than female do?

Well I'm just curious and it's something I have always thought to be true.
My logic is that male need bigger territory than female.
 
well.... its on the will of cats whether male of female that if they want to wander or not. even female cats wander like anything..... but its more common in mail cats that they wander more than anyone else
 
Er, I think it depends on personality and whether they are an indoor cat or outdoor cat. Indoor cats may want to see the outside world and will go farther when they go out then outdoor cats who have explored many places. If one cat is more daring and adventurous than the other that one will want to explore more than a shy one.

So, all in all, it does not depend on the gender and we may never know for sure unless someone does a survey.
