I'm going to UCLA and found out that I'm going to have to live in an apartment not owned by the campus if I want to live alone. This means I'll be spending a lot of money in addition to the cost of school in general. So the only option I see is reducing my costs for school as much as possible with financial aid so I can afford the apartment(if I insist on living alone...but that's what I've been looking forward to all these years!!!).
Now the problem is, financial aid through "FAFSA" apparently ended in March? I'm not sure of the details, but I didn't sign up only because it requires enrollment in the Army, which I've been avoiding like the plague.
So it's all the way down to almost May now. Do I still have options for financial aid? I'm not good at searching for this, especially since there seem to be a lot of scams out there. Any help deeply appreciated. Thanks!
