I'm a sophmore in high school, and until now I haven't thought much about college, but now college is the only thing on my mind. Last year, I can't say I flunked out; I had some A's, some B's, some C's, but I failed English. I was home-schooled for 2 years before I began my freshman year at a public high school. This year is different, though. I'm getting all A's for every one of my classes except biology which I'm getting a high B. I'm determined to maintain my grades and pick up that B. I have a feeling I'm going to do really well Junior and Senior year. However, I'm not involved in any clubs or activities due to my reserved nature. Another thing I am concerned about is the type of classes I'm taking. I'm not taking any honors or AP courses since I have practically no junior high education/experience with the curriculum. Should I stay in college prep classes or should I apply for AP classes next year? And if I take AP classes junior and senior year, do you think a good college would accept me?
