If a torque converter is bad, will it cause a vehicle to stall out at stop lights or when slowing down? After reaching 60 mph it jumps into gear.
I have changed my oil, my plugs, put on a throttle body as well and still having this problem.
I took it to Mazda today and they where really backed up the tech said to leave it there they will check it out. 10 mins before they closed I arrived for him to tell me he needs another tech to look at it but they are 99% sure its my Torque Converter. He didn't charge for the diagnosis stated cause he wants to be 100% which leads me to believe he didn't have time to check it at all.
He showed me a service bulletin of a Torque Converter stating my issue along with a vehicle Est repair sheet of $1849.22.
What you think???
