I've heard that Honda only gives this to people with a credit score of 710+
My parents will be co-signing and they have a credit score of about 690.
However, they bought a Civic (my current car) back in 2001 and financed it through Honda. They paid it off and remained in good standing....would this help us get the 0.9% APR?
If not, what APR do you think they'd give us?
I'll be getting a 2010/11 Honda Insight EX w/Navi if that makes a difference
Also, I'm going to be putting down $5000. That's towards taxes, fees, etc. I want to walk out the door paying $5000 - no more and no less.
The car costs about $23000 MSRP, but they have trouble selling them so most people I hear from get them for around $22000, give or take. Invoice is $21900.
