Do i need UPS for my system?

I do not care about the data in my computer cause nothing in it is worth and i ask this because i have installed this new motherboard and i am worried whether power cuts or power interruptions will kill the BIOS and other components in the motherboard. so is my computer safe without the UPS, because there is a lot of power cuts in my city! and iam not worried about data loss .... thanks
