do i need to use a cleanser with the aspirin mask?

Hey, just wanted to make sure, Im using cliniques 3-step system. So when i use the aspirin mask, would i first use the cleanser, then the mask, then the toner and lotion?

I think so. At least with the cleanser and moisturizer. You might want to skip the toner depending on what's in it. If it has some kind of alcohol or other irritant, it might be too much after the the aspirin mask. And most toners do. And the aspirin mask itself is irritating for some people.
 
Does it matter what order I use it in? I think the toner has salicylic acid in it, but when i used the aspirin mask yesterday it didn't feel dry or anything.
 
i would think you'd use the toner before the asprin because otherwise woudln't u wipe it all off? then apply the moisturizer after. i don't know if this would mess up the effect of the asprin, but at least it would still be on your face.
 
cleanser, rinse, apply mask until dry, rinse, toner, then moisturizer.

but i agree that you could skip the toner if you wanted, since it might make your skin too dry or possibly irritated.
