Do I need to send out a new birth announcement if we change our babys name?

We recently changed our son's name, after we named him a loved one passed away and decided we wanted to honor him by changing his first name. He is a month and a half old and we've already send out birth announcements do we need to send out new ones or name change announcements? Not really sure of the etiquette here. Thanks for the help!
