Do I need to see a doctor?

I am unreasonably tired all the time. I am 20 years old, and straight edged, no drinking no drugs ever. No caffeine, no soda. I do have an insanely strong sweet tooth and crave a sweet thing once a day, but do watch what I eat and try not to over indulge. I attempt going to the gym every other day but mis occasionally. I'm not over weight, I have never been overly sick. However I do tend to have a form of IBS but unsure from what food, either way I get occasionally excruciatingly painful stomach aches followed by diarrhea. I take vitamins, I eat fish and chicken rarely red meat.

I am happy, although confused at 20 with what to do with my life, do not feel depressed. I take birth control and have been for for over a year to date.

My problem again is over tiredness. Ten hours in bed, can barely make myself get out of bed. Hours later could go right back in bed and sleep again. I feel awful about this, I am extremely sick of being tired all the time. Thinking something is seriously wrong, thyroid problem, even diabetes on my mind.

Main idea is anemia, my mom a retired nurse, fears for me, and makes me question if this tiredness is purely in my head something I need to work through and merely need to be more active, where I admit on the other hand I want an excuse so I can hope to feel less crappy.

Started taking iron supplements the other day, but fear there might be another issue at hand than just anemia. Any thoughts or advice?
