If I wanted to add a new water spigot on the side of the house where there is no plumbing, would I need to run 3/4" copper pipe? The nearest plumbing is at the kitchen, which would be about 30 feet away from the new spigot location. Would I need to run 3/4" all the way there, then reduce it to 1/2" where it feeds the spigot? Or could I run 1/2" all the way from the kitchen area?
Do I need to run 3/4" pipe to a new outdoor spigot for a garden hose?
