...T-mobile prepaid plan? I'm just wondering b/c obviously I will pay a ton more for an unlocked phone. Thinking about getting the Samsung Vibrant.
I'm on prepaid right now. I pay for text + calls, but not data since I've found a workaround (my phone's old; a V95 Motorola) using the following:

Since this should still work with a new phone with great features, I can browse the web and stuff without it costing me money, which makes getting a plan useless since I don't talk on it much.
Anyhow, just wondering about the unlocked thing. It's only if I want an AT&T or other GSM network phone that I need unlocked to transfer the SIM card and have it work, right?
