OK, I moved into halls of residence a couple of weeks ago and purchased a TV licence for my room when I moved in, as I have a TV. None of my other flatmates have one, and I don't watch it too much, so I was planning on maybe moving it into the kitchen/communal area. Does anyone know if I need a separate licence if I move it through or does mine cover it? The £1000 fine doesn't sound too good so I don't want to take any risks.
