Do I need a Rogers HD Box if I want to use an HD Tuner on my PC?

I was considering turning one of my PCs into a PVR using a guide online. All of the TVs in my house (except for the one in my room) are hooked up to a Rogers cable box. I do get internet through the cable in my room through (It's connected to a modem).

So if I buy a TV capture card for my PC, will I need to run it through a Rogers box in order to get programming on my PC?
