Do i need a passport if i am going from canada to the usa in car?

I am 12 and i do not know if i need a passport to go to the usa from canada in car??

Yes, you do need a passport to cross the border from usa to canada even if your going by car. They recently changed the rules so that if you are going from canada to usa or usa to canada you need yo show identifiction.
