i just got a new drive axle seal replace on my year (2000) saturn SL2 and then my mechanic tells me that i need a new transmission because there is a leak in my bell housing case so transmission fluid is leaking out (Might be wrong on the type of fluid). i guess when they topped off my transmission fluid is when it started leaking and they figured out there was a crack in it. So, do i need a new tranny? its a 5 Speed, By the way.
Do i need a new transmission if i have a cracked bell housing case?
