Hi I'm 18 and I am planning on going door to door offering to paint addresses on curbs. I live in california and would like to know if i need a DBA to do this legally and if i'll have to declare my income. I only expect to make less than 1000 and this is just a quick cash kind of thing but i want to do it legally. I understand that i have to get a permit as sidewalk curbs are public property but would just like to know if i need some kind of business license or DBA to go door to door offering to paint people's curbs.
