I have been with AT&T since April of last year. I don't have a data plan. I just have the 5 dollar texting plan for 200 text messages. I don't intend to get the data plan at all. I've been meaning to get this phone for a while. I found an owner on craigslist who is willing to sell their's to me. But after I did a little research, I'm not sure if I needed a data plan to use it. Will they try to force the plan on me if I try to use the phone? I already have all MediaNET blocked from my wireless plan to prevent any accidental charges. If they do try to make me get the data plan, can I just have the phone unlocked and use it like normal? Thanks in advance.
