Our son will turn two years old in a couple of weeks. Me and my husband adopted him through one of my cousins, and this is an open adoption. My in laws have not made it shown within the last two years that my son is fully accepted into their family (ie. I have sent pictures, as gifts and do not see these displayed, as are the other grandkids pictures). Also, my son has not been invited to his cousins birthday partys, ie my brother and sister in law have had birthday parties within the past year and we along with our son were not invited. I don't want my son to have anything to do with people who will not accept him as their own. Perhaps I am not thinking straight at the moment, as I dont' want to ever invite them to anything as long as I am married to their brother for failing to include my son in their family. And no, I am not imagining this, I really feel that he is being exluded for some foolish and ridicoulus reason.
Do I invite or not invite my sister in law/brother in law to our son's birthday party?
